"The Very Big Secret" MATS 2024
I created these illustrations for a MAKE ART THAT SELLS Illustrating Children's Books online course. Working with text written by Zoë Tucker, I developed character design, double page spreads and covers. I took this 5 week intensive course to give myself the opportunity to evolve my style and explore without the pressure of a real job. I love a brief and a deadline, so Zoe’s beautiful manuscript and Lilla’s action packed and fast paced course is just what I needed. Colouring my linework, adding a touch of white to my signature dot eyes and drawing background scenes without outlines have hopefully elevated my artwork.
