Stories with heart

Early in 2021 I took part in a 5 day Creative Productivity Challenge that guided me through some creative exercises to help me discover my “purpose” on my illustration pathway. I’ve always wanted to create children’s picture books, but I’ve only become fully focussed on this goal in the last year. I want to illustrate stories that will help children overcome life’s challenges, big or small. Creating picture books with heart that will feed their curiosity, imagination and uniqueness. I’m currently working on some big portfolio pieces but I will attempt to capture some little moments in time like this... and post them to my instagram @laraporter_illustration every so often.
