Lovemore and Blessing illustrations

When my husband was a young boy he would spend his summer holidays up at his grandparents farm in Zimbabwe. He made fast friends with a little boy called Lovemore and they would play endless games of soccer together. This friendship continued into adulthood with the exchange of written letters that took months to find their way to each other. All these years later, on the other side of the world in Australia, my son now writes letters to a little boy his own age named Lovemore in Zimbabwe... thanks to Worldvision. When we saw his name on the list of children needing sponsorship, we just knew he was the one! We also started sponsoring a little girl my daughter’s age in Zimbabwe when she was about 4 years old, her name is Blessing.
