IA 9x5 Exhibition 2013

A unique exhibition that brings together practising illustrating members of Illustrators Australia to produce original works on 9X5 inch wood, this follows the concept of the Heidelberg artists’ 1890 Exhibition of paintings on cigar lids. The theme for this, the 18th Annual 9x5 Exhibition, is "Flourish". My artwork features the image of the three flying ducks, the third duck has morphed into a peacock and is flying free of it's gilded wallpaper surroundings. The three birds are painted on foam board and thus sit proud of the background.
