The characters featured in my story are siblings. The older sister is a sassy, bright, adventurous, quirky and bossy eco-warrior. The younger brother is sensitive, imaginative, lovable and sometimes a little bit naughty. The family sausage dog and a toy shark also take part in the antics and feature on every spread. Whilst there are many environmental books about saving the planet, recycling and climate change etc. there are hardly any about water conservation. I felt compelled to fill this gap in the market (water conservation set in suburbia/city) as summers are predicted to only get longer and hotter going forward. We need to teach all our children how to be responsible for our precious water as a finite resource. This book would be great for environmentally aware parents (hopefully ALL parents) as well as an essential resource.
