Tracing outline of the three birds.
Peacock shape on foam board.

Applying a layer of acrylic gesso to foam board shapes.
Rough placement of 3D ducks and peacock on wood before painting begins.
All three birds are painted simultaneously so that colours match.
Ducks completed. Peacock tail ready to go.

Antique gold metallic finish mixed with turpentine creates beautiful sheen to wallpaper pattern.
